f fragrance can be an identity and a mood statement, then actress Febby Febiola wants to express her feminine side through her first perfume, Febiola.
Besides promoting her perfume, the 33-year-old actress, recently appearing in the Filipino thriller The Witness, also plans to invest in a Japanese restaurant in Bangka Belitung in July.
“To me, dressing up without putting some perfume is never complete. I am a long-time fan of fragrance and have been an avid observer in the perfume industry. My first acquaintance with perfume was when I was 11 years old. It was my mother’s.
When I have a hectic schedule and am feeling tired hearing too many unnecessary things, I will just go inside my bedroom and have my own moment alone. I usually do relaxing things such as listening to the music, reading or just browsing the Internet.
I am neither a homebody nor a traveling buff. My job requires me to go out a lot. Sometimes the shooting locations move from one place to another. I also travel outside the city a lot. That is why I like to spend a lot of free time at home. I make my home as comfortable as possible.
On Sunday, I usually go to the church and watch a movie in the cinema. The only thing I avoid doing on Sunday is shopping in the mall because they are usually very crowded. I cannot imagine myself trying to walk among the crowds with children running everywhere.
When I go to the cinema in the mall, I will just head to the lift and go straight to the cinema. I opt to shop on weekdays when I can get some space.
My beauty treatment is simple. I always set a time to go to a beauty salon twice or three times a month for a facial. It’s like a responsibility since I wear make up in my work. I like to have body massage too, but I prefer to call a therapist to my apartment.
As for hair, I stick to my classic style, which suits me well. I take care of it by myself. I just buy creambath lotion, which is cheaper than spending my time for a hair treatment in salon. Jakarta is congested and I don’t want to spend my free time battling the traffic on the street.”
