I have the impression that president director RJ Lino is living in another world, unless he is surrounded by very good staff.

All the issues mentioned by Mr. Fabrice Desmarescaux in the article prior to RJ Lino’s remark make sense and are correct, as we all know.

Outperforming is not exactly a good description of the bulk of Indonesians, especially not in comparison to other Asian countries, and definitely not in comparison to overseas countries.

I must admit that I know some very good Indonesians but they are working in overseas multinationals, abroad or have established their own and well-run organizations, which outshine the average local companies.

However, in relation to the “educated” bulk of the population, it is only a depressingly low
percentage.
