eru, the singer of Yogyakarta ska band Shaggy Dog, has lent his rapping skills to a religious album entitled Kidung Sufi Samudera Cinta (The Ocean of Love Sufi Anthem).
“I wrote lyrics and also contributed some rapping,” he said.
Heru said that he became interested in working with journalist Candra Malik to make the album because he saw messages of love and peace in the music.
“I heard the songs first and the message seemed universal. Candra is also a cool person,” he said.
