Swedish DJ Avicii has announced that he is canceling his show in Jakarta planned for next March.

He explained in a statement posted on his official facebook page on Saturday that the cancellation was due to a breach of contract by the promoters.

'€œThe breach was serious enough that it would have seriously compromised the whole show,'€ he said without elaborating details in a message dedicated to his fans.

No statement from the promoter has yet been made available.

The DJ, whose real name is Tim Bergling, added that his gig in Singapore, a day prior to the canceled Jakarta show, would go ahead as planned. '€œRefunds will be available on all purchased tickets from the event promoters,'€ the statement said.
