ctress Tika Bravani will soon start training in pencak silat panglipur, tribunnews.com reported on Thursday.

Tika, who played the wife of a man with autism (Dwi Sasono) in the newly released drama Malaikat Kecil (Little Angel), said that she preferred to be in action films.

'€œSince playing the role of Fatmawati, I have received many offers to play the role of a young mother,'€ said the jujitsu athlete.

Tika, 25, took the role of the country'€™s first lady in the biopic of Indonesia founding president Sukarno.

In her latest action film, 3, Tika said she would be trained by pencak silat panglipur master Cecep Arif Rahman.

The martial art was developed in Bandung, West Java, by Abah Aleh, and has existed since 1909.

'€œI'€™m impressed by the beautiful and artistic movements of the art,'€ she said, adding that her classes would start next week.
