A bomb exploded in Mall Alam Sutera in Serpong, Tangerang, in the outskirts of Jakarta, a police official confirmed on Wednesday.
"Yes there is a bomb. My team and I are heading to the location," Sr. Cmr. Sutarmo, detective crime unit chief of Tangerang Police, said to kompas.com.
He said he received the information at 12:50 p.m. He did not say whether or not there were any victims.
"We can't tell you anything yet," he said.
The Mall was also the location of an explosion that took place on July 9 in the men's restroom; there were no victims in that incident. The Police have not yet named any suspects for the July incident. (rin)(+)
