ustralian soft rock band Air Supply has confirmed that it has rescheduled its upcoming Jakarta concert for March 3 at the Kasablanka Hall, South Jakarta.
Titled Bringing Back the Memories, the tour, which includes stops in Asian cities, had been delayed since December due to the health of vocalist Russel Hitchcock.
“Russel and I postponed several shows for the very first time due to sheer exhaustion and trying to do too much,” said British-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russel in a press release.
“The new year will be another chapter for Air Supply in so many ways as we continue to urge everyone to spread kindness and love around the world.”
Jakarta will be the band’s first tour stop. The band will perform its hits from the1980s as part of its 40th anniversary.
“Tickets for the initial date had been sold out, but due to further development, tickets are still available,” said David Ananda, managing director of Full Color Entertainment, the concert’s promoter.
Tickets are available online, with prices ranging from Rp 750,000 (US$56.3) to Rp 2.5 million.
