woman was captured allegedly trying to bring a bayonet into a courtroom where Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama was on trial for blasphemy on Wednesday. The police said they suspected her of suffering from a mental illness.
South Jakarta Police criminal detective unit chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Budi Hermanto said the police had apprehended the woman, identified as Retno Rahayu, and questioned her motives for trying to bring the weapon into the Agriculture Ministry auditorium the North Jakarta District Court was using as a courtroom in South Jakarta, but her answers were unclear and inconsistent.
“Her husband told us through a telephone conversation that the woman was once a patient at the Soeharto Heerdjan Mental Hospital in Grogol, West Jakarta,” said Budi as quoted by kompas.com.

Budi said that the police would consult with the doctor who previously took care of Retno in the mental hospital in order to make sure about her illness. (kkk)
