eavy rain throughout Thursday in Tangerang, Banten, destroyed the canopy of the Jurumudi Baru community health center (Puskesmas) building.
Tangerang Health Agency head Liza Puspadewi told the media on Friday that the extreme weather had severely damaged the entrance canopy of the building.
“The incident didn’t disrupt the medical activities in the building and we’ve immediately repaired it,” she said as reported by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
The health center, which was built in 2005, Liza added, had never been renovated and several parts of its structure had been eroded.
“There were no victims, probably because the incident occurred in the morning when the center was not busy,” she said. (vla)
