Police are still investigating and searching for the suspected perpetrator of a reported robbery and rape at a residence of a German national in Depok, West Java.
“The incident happened at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday,” Depok Police’s Criminal Investigation Department head Comr. Bintoro said on Friday, as quoted by tempo.co.
The suspect allegedly threatened the victim and raped her after she caught the suspect entering the house, Bintoro said.
The suspect then allegedly took the victim’s belongings, including two mobile phones, two gold rings and Rp 1.5 million (US$101) in cash, before he fled the house.
The police have visited the house to collect evidence. “Bed linen, underwear and mobile phone boxes were taken for further investigation,” Bintoro said. (stu)
