A

seven-month pregnant woman identified as YA, 27, has accused her husband, a Malaysian, MA, 27, of assaulting her on Saturday at the family's home in Cilandak, South Jakarta.

The head of the South Jakarta Police's crime unit, Comr. Andi Sinjaya Ghalib, said that according to YA, the incident began when the wife and husband argued after she said she found a pornographic video on her husband's phone.

"The wife got angry after checking her husband's phone. She found out that he had just finished watching porn," Andi said as quoted by kompas.com on Sunday.

According to Andi, although YA claimed she remained calm, she said MA became angry because he had two friends visiting.

"He was embarrassed at that time. He hit YA with his fists and grabbed her arm until it bruised, " Andi alleged.

YA reported her husband to the police. (ggq)
