The Health Ministry announced 4,192 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 506,302.

According to data released by the ministry on Tuesday, 109 more people have died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 16,111.

The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 425,313.

The ministry reported that 27,768 people were tested on Tuesday, bringing the total number of people tested to 3,608,244.

The capital city recorded 1,015 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 129,188. Meanwhile, Central Java reported 928 new cases, West Java 299, East Java 354, Banten 144 and Riau 138.

The virus has spread to all of the country's 34 provinces. (kmt)
