The event was initiated by jazz enthusiast and Bromo-loving photographer Sigit Pramono alongside artists Butet Kartaredjasa and Djaduk Ferianto. Their vision is to increase appreciation of ethnic jazz music, adding value to tourism in Mt. Bromo and making Jazz Gunung Bromo one of the country’s leading arts and culture festivals.
