Twitter has launched a new feature that will invigorate the look of the app called night mode.
This new theme changes the classic blue and white scheme of Twitter into deep blue and white, which completely changes the look of the app.

The activation of night mode only requires a user to tap a toggle on the app’s slide-out menu. Unfortunately, unlike the name suggests, there is no function to allow it to automatically change based on the brightness around you and requires manual toggling from night mode to normal.
The main advantage of the night mode is that it makes reading easier at night, not to mention the AMOLED screen that the night mode takes up is also useful for battery saving purposes.
So far night mode has only been released for Android devices, but Twitter has confirmed that an iOS version would be coming out soon. (ken/kes)
