Korean actor Park Bo-gum participated in a fan meeting at Kasablanka Hall in Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta, on Friday.
Organized by Mecima Pro, the 3.5-hour event was attended by 2,000 fans from Indonesia and other countries.
During the meeting, Park answered questions from the audience and shared his thoughts about many things, such as how he thought he still needed to work on his acting, that he preferred exercising rather than going on a diet and how he does not want to change anything in terms of his appearance.

Regarding his recent recognition as best actor at the KBS Drama Awards for his role as Lee Young in Love in the Moonlight, also known as Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, the actor shared that he did not expect to be given such an award and was thankful to all of the drama staff and fans who had supported him.
Since arriving in Jakarta, the actor had the opportunity to visit the National Monument, Bundaran HI and Jl. Sabang in Central Jakarta. "I scouted out Monas online. I really wanted to take a picture there,” he said, adding that he had also tasted Indonesian food in the Sabang area, such as satay and durian.

Nearing the end of the event, Park wore blue batik on stage, watched a video prepared by Indonesian fans and read a letter he wrote for his fans in the archipelago. “Let’s pursue our dreams and make this year filled with happiness and without regret," said the actor, who then closed the session by singing a song by late Indonesian singer Chrisye, "Untukku" (For Me).
Park is slated to participate in similar events until March. Prior to Jakarta, he visited Malaysia and Hong Kong as part of his Asian tour. (kes)
