We must blame the government for classifying the aviation industry into three categories
We must blame the government for classifying the aviation industry into three categories. As I know in the flight system it must be only one category, Yes or no, never excuse by any tolerance.

Adam Air is just one example of a big problem in Indonesia: corruption* How can businesses develop when money goes in the wrong pockets? Don't tell me "it's a tradition". It's a social disease that's been allowed to continue for too long and keeps this great country in poverty.

Many plane accidents have happened recently, many of which occurred with Adam Air planes. It causes people to be afraid of using air travel, which is actually effective. People prefer to use water transportation which is safer but not efficient because it takes a long time.
There was good news when the government announced that it would increase compensation for victims of transportation accidents. People began to use air travel because at least their life are paid off.
I think in any aviation industry, safety is the most important thing. Good safety makes customers satisfied, in addition to low-cost.

I am really shocked looking at this situation. How did Adam Air get the legal right to fly planes. People must be careful to choose what planes they want to fly. Don't ever deal life with money.

Possible Adam Air slogan: "Terrorists don't dare fly with us". DIEDERIK
Jakarta
It must be embarrassing for our flight industry and inconvenient for customers who purchased tickets.

It is tragic, especially the employees. ADAM stands for 'A' for ambitious, 'D' for development, 'A' for accidents and 'M' for maintenance. Too ambitious development and lack of maintenance (to keep prices down) led to accidents.

Closing down Adam Air is a wise decision to prevent more disasters. Returning money spent on booked tickets is a must.

The reason is simple enough. The company didn't have good management. Shareholders and a board of directors don't have adequate knowledge to run an airline business.
You can not survive with cheap airfares and "not enough" planes to meet the high requirements of the airline business.

I believe Adam Air Indonesia (AAI) doesn't want this "tragedy" to happen. The government should at least to postpone the halt until all tickets sold are used.
