AKARTA: The House of Representatives and the Attorney General's Office on Wednesday had to delay discussing graft cases related the misuse of the Bank Indonesia liquidity support (BLBI) funds.

It was the second such postponement due to low attendance on the part of legislators, AGO spokesman Jasman Pandjaitan said.

The initial meeting between the AGO and members of House Commission III for legal affairs should have taken place on Feb. 4, he added.

Jasman said only three legislators showed up, out of the 29 scheduled to attend Wednesday's meeting at the AGO building.

"We couldn't hold the meeting because the number of legislators did not reach a quorum. So we had to reschedule it," Jasman said.
