ANGERANG: Five people were injured after a 12-kilogram gas canister exploded in a storage room on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara in Cipondoh, Tangerang, on Monday evening.
The victims, Susilowati, 20, Marti, 45, Sukrat, 25, Yahya, 30 and Marsa, 32, suffered burns on the arms and legs. They were treated at Tangerang General Hospital.
Susilowati said the explosion was sparked by a short circuit that ignited leaking gas.
