AKARTA: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is to send an investigation team to collect data and other evidence surrounding the purchase of information technologies (IT) at the General Elections Commission (KPU) this week.
"We're hoping this week the team will be able to visit the KPU just to monitor things," KPK deputy chief for corruption prevention Haryono Umar told kompas.com on Monday.
Umar said the KPK previously sent a request letter to the KPU asking for information about their partners and guarantors involved in the project.
