NDONESIA: Jakarta-based radio news agency KBR68H is to receive the 2008-2009 King Baudouin International Development Prize in Belgium on May 19.
"KBR68H is the first news media in the world to receive the prize. We are proud to be selected," said Santoso, KBR68H's executive director.
The representative of KBR68H, set up in 1999, will attend a special ceremony and receive a cash prize of 150,000 euros from the biannual award which started in 1980.
