ENPASAR: In conjunction with the 59th anniversary of the Indonesian Kindergarten Teacher's Association (IGTKI) hundreds of students, parents and teachers in Denpasar participated in a fun walk on Sunday.

The IGTKI and head of the Indonesian Teacher's Association (PGRI) Cok Istri Mas Minggu Wathini said the celebration was aimed at enhancing the solidarity and relationship among students and parents with teachers.

Wathini further discussed the importance of kindergarten teachers' roles in shaping the character of the nation's children, despite the low income they receive. - JP
