Bus station sees passenger rate increase

DENPASAR: Due to the school holidays, Bali's Ubung bus station recorded a 15 percent increase in terms of passenger rate.

Bus station staffer Made Wirajaya said during holidays buses with intercity and inter-province routes would be 70 percent filled with passengers.

"Regularly, we would only have 700-800 passengers per day. But during a peak season nowadays, we could get more than 1,000 people a day." - JP
