ENPASAR: A bomb threat made against the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Miftah Islamic school in Denpasar on Friday triggered panic among students and teachers as forced an evacuation of the premises.

Fadoli, the principal at Al-Miftah, said he received the threat via SMS on Thursday evening from an unidentified person. A similar text was also received by a teacher.

"In the text, the person stated that the school would be blown up with a bomb on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. local time," Fadoli said.

The principal immediately notified the police while the teachers evacuated the students to a nearby mosque.
