hevron Corporation has announced it is partnering with the Indonesian government and the Health Ministry's Directorate General of Contagious Disease Control and Environmental Health to fight HIV/AIDS.
"The partnership continues Chevron's global commitment to help preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria," Chevron said in a statement recently.
In Indonesia, the directorate general will receive US$5 million in funding over three years as part of a Global Fund HIV/AIDS grant, it said.
The contribution will support a comprehensive program, including education and information initiatives as well as tailored localized campaigns to prevent and control the spread of HIV/AIDS.
