AKARTA: Due to lack of preparation, Indonesian women's singles shuttler Maria Kristin Yulianti has decided not to participate in the upcoming Denmark Super Series and France Super Series.

"Looking back on my previous performances, I don't have enough preparation for these championships," Maria said on Tuesday. She was speaking on the sidelines of the National Sports Day celebration at the State Ministry for Sports and Youth Affairs office in Jakarta.

Kristin was among the recipients of Satyalancana Wira Karya Presidential Award for the bronze medal she won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
