AKARTA: Pademangan Police said on Sunday that they were questioning Sun Tjie, a key witness in the death of Tjong Sauw Jiat on Friday evening. Sun Tjie is the mother of Sauw Jiat who was found dead with a slit throat.

Sun Tjie's husband, Tjong Miaw Lim, reportedly slit his own throat after discovering his son's body. He survived the incident as Sun Tjie managed to rush him to the Husada Hospital.

"During the incident, there were only three people in the house, including Sun Tjie," Pademang police detective chief Comr. Wawan Setiawan said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Wawan said police investigators were still finding it hard to glean information from Sun Tjie as she was still in a state of shock.

"It still not clear whether Sauw Jiat was murdered, whether he killed himself or what the motive was."
