Letter: Collapse of judicial system

The fact is the police and the AGO have often covered up unjust arrests and the manipulation of people, and this KPK case could serve as an opening to investigate the police and the AGO institutions for corruption and abuse of power.
By forcing prosecution, these two agencies have intimidated the public and tarnished the names of both the police and the AGO. The latest case has been of particular interest to the public because it clearly lacks relevant evidence - and has affected the chairman of the KPK, and his deputies. We have seen a fabricated case of murder and now are seeing a fabricated case of bribery and abuse of power. All of these accusations are lies.
Our country can imagine how its people would suffer at the hands of the police and the AGO, if its citizens and foreigners were imprisoned with manipulated and fabricated evidence.
The voice recordings are very clear and our country should seize this opportunity to apprehend the arrogance and abuse of power at both institutions.
We find it reasonably true that Abdul Hakim Ritonga was promoted to become deputy AGO to prevent them from being investigated on corruption charges.
The police and AGO are the main corruptors in our country. They worked together in an attempt to stop the KPK investigating the two agencies. Abdul Hakim Ritonga and three others from the AGO office should be removed, together with Susno and two others from national police, including the National Police chief and the attorney general who directed the meeting.
Save our country from plunging into the collapse of the judicial system. We have had enough. It is time to clean up the mess at the AGO and the police.

Has freedom of expression run riot? In any normal society the accused is presumed innocent before proven guilty (Does it work the other way in Jakarta?). Ifa has already decided that both the police and AGO are guilty and that the KPK three are innocent. Now unless he/she has proof to back the allegations they remain just that. I don't know what libel laws you have but Ifa can be sued for defamation and the Post too for causing to have Ifa's letter published. Collapse of Judicial system: I agree with Ifa, the writer of this topic. Our country has gone worse in the system of law and treatment of law enforcers, police and AGO against their very citizens and more also the foreigners living here. The arrogance of police and AGO is out of hand, the clear fabricated case against KPK is evidence how they send innocent people to jail and shoting some randomly as if they are shoting animals in the bush, our judicial system has gone zero through police and AGO manipulations, oh indonesia my country, the cry of injustice is sounding in every corner, we are sorry for those in the jail today who has been jailed with fabricated accusation and false witness of police and AGO, both citizens and foreigners, suppose Pak Chandra and Pak Bibit has no one to speak for them, suppose the people did not react, suppose they did not occupied such position as they are today, no one could have know them, no one would have known they are not guilty, how much more those in the jail today suffering what they did not do, our land shaking today by God of justice with earthquake because of cry of many innocent in the jail and outside jail in pains and in search of justice which was denied by forceful prosecution, fabricated case and irrelivant evidence build against them by the police and AGO, oh indonesia my country, it is time to joined hand together to bring santity to our country, police and AGO must be reformed and the current police and AGO head and others involved in the record should be remove to allow indipendent team investigate them, the police should be remove from presidency like every other democratic country and place them under interor ministry, why should we be confuse to do right we suppose to do, the very ill-practice of police and AGO has been made open by God through KPK innocency, and if our country failed this opportunity, that means we are heading to peoples power of revolution and total broke down. Enough is enough and the truth can't be hidden though intimidiated but truth will surely prevail.
