AKARTA: A fire on Sunday morning razed almost a half a house used to accommodate migrant workers in Tanjung Barat, South Jakarta, but took no lives, the Jakarta Police's Traffic Management Center (TMC) reported.
According to TMC, the two-story house, located in Jl. Muara Tanjung Barat, was inhabited by 500 people when the fire started at 5.50 a.m.
It took two fire engines to extinguish the fire.
