our comments on the alleged conspiracy against the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), revealed in a voice recording played at a hearing at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.

The voice recording that played at the Constitutional Court hearing disclosed Anggodo had a lot to say about several government officials. Anggodo and his counterparts in the telephone conversations should be interrogated and investigated thoroughly.

The fact that some officials, including SBY, have been mentioned in those private phone conversations does not mean that said officials are involved in the case discussed. It is common practice that brokers claim to be in a close relationship with important officials.

This is a tragedy in the law enforcement of Indonesia. All of law enforcers (police, judges, prosecutors) should not only base their work on the written laws.

It's sad to see that many of our law enforcers are still controlled by bad businessmen.

What a shame.

It is amazing how the House of Representatives have sided with the police. Authorities are protecting each other.

Unfortunately the public know very well that the police cannot be trusted because many of them are not clean.

They are masters at setting up people and acting for them is a way of life. I was not moved by the tears that one of actors forced out of his eyes.

Everybody would swear on the holy book that they have never received 20 million if the sum that they have received is only a mere five million.

A certain police officer went to Singapore against orders from his superiors to investigate Anggoro because Anggoro specifically asked for him.

Anggoro did not want other police officers investigating him. Since when does a suspect make decisions for the police?

Since when does a suspect decide which police officer should investigate him?

It is clear that Anggoro is ordering the police around and it is obvious that the police are at his beck and call.

My question is: why?

There are so many controversial statements floating around, witnesses are cooking up testimonies or they are withdrawing them.

The media is not easily taken in by suspicious and controversial statements; the media is doing their utmost to get to the truth. The public is also not easily swayed by the police and certain lawyers.

The public know very well that the truth will prevail and that sooner or later the truth will be uprooted and will come out and sooner or later many individuals in high positions will come tumbling down the ladder of their career.

The public in this country is not as ignorant as members of the House who seem to be easily taken in by play acting.

I am not surprised that some parliament members back the police in this KPK fiasco.

If you think about it, both parliament and the police share the same "qualities".
