I would like to respond the recent annulment of the education entities law (BHP) by the Constitutional Court.

There are three things the government should fully be responsible for - education, public healthcare and mass public transportation.

With regard to the major problems afflicting our education system nowadays, the government cannot simply evade responsibility by encouraging universities to finance themselves. This is what I call "washing one's hands" of the problem.

Having an entrepreneurial character is important for all members of any universities, in order to obtain additional funding that can be utilized to develop human resources within those universities.

The act of being an entrepreneur is not to commercialize education (that must be forbidden) but a way to synchronize with business and industry for the sake of a "symbiosis mutualism", or a win-win solution for both sides.

I hope the rector and his subordinates, including students, have an entrepreneurship paradigm and see the world beyond university, especially with industry as a partner to work together toward good practices.

They certainly cannot be separated as they need each other.
