ANGERANG: The South Tangerang municipality has commenced the construction of a general hospital using Rp 160 billion (US$17.76 million) from its 2010 budget, an official said Saturday.
South Tangerang Interim Mayor MH Shaleh said the hospital would occupy a 2-hectare plot of land next to a horse track on Jl. Raya Pajajaran, Pamulang, and would be equipped with 10 ambulances, 60 VIP rooms, 10 operating theaters and 260 treatment rooms.
"We plan to complete construction in 2011," he said.
