I refer to an article titled “FPI radicals remain free after assault” (The Jakarta Post, May 4).
Why have these barbaric events been allowed to happen recently in Indonesia, as if no law applies? Where is the protection afforded to the rights of citizens in accordance with Article 28 of the Constitution?
The government must take firm action to enforce the law and to ensure security for all citizens, without exception.
Do not just take it for granted because it would merely affect
minorities and can bring no harm to the government. I’m sure a lot of
minorities can create a better image for Indonesia. God, help this
nation and declare your justice here.
