AKARTA: State-Owned Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar said Friday he would extend the service of state telecommunication company PT Telkom's boards of commissioners and directors pending the result of the government's final assessment team (TPA) on candidates for the new boards.

"We do not have any agenda on the management reshuffle in today's shareholder meeting. We will extend the existing tenure because the TPA has not issued an assessment," Mustafa said at his office.

He said the management reshuffle at Telkom would be done soon.

Mustafa said three candidates for Telkom president director had been named, but declined to identify them.

"The candidates are Telkom stalwarts," he said.

At the meeting, shareholders agreed to disburse Rp 5.6 trillion in dividends, or 50 percent of Telkom's 2009 net profit, on July 26.

Mustafa added that the TPA was also busy assessing two other management bodies at Bank Mandiri and fertilizer company PT Pusri. - JP
