Your comment on the government will review its decision to raise electricity prices in response to complaints from business.

I think the poor, the needy and other common people living in this country only know that the raise of electricity tariffs will have a domino effect. The price of everything increases from hour to hour.
The price of certain commodities is sky-high. I don’t remember how many times the regime has forced most people in this country to tighten their belts.
In my opinion, the national budget is not always arranged for the sake of people’s welfare.
It is against the 5th principle of Pancasila. Oh my God, forgive us. May Thee give us, the weak, patience and power to survive in this secular country!

A capable, trustworthy government should consider all relevant aspects before deciding and issuing a decree to raise electricity tariffs. It is crystal clear that the tariffs have a considerable influence on the industry and economy in general.
To review its decision soon afterward in response to complaints from business, makes it look like a lame-duck government.

An electricity tariff review means the government responds to complaints, which is contrary to the government during the New Order.

We will see waves of labor dismissals and lay-offs and more and more workers. What? Is it a threat?
What I learn the most about public policy is the fact that all policies, whatsoever, will have those people who are either better or worse off.
The policy needs to be judged, among others, more comprehensively such as whether it in fact produces more economic gain as a whole.
