ept.11, Online: Dozens of angry people burned down a public bus that had hit a motorcycle in Ngawi, East Java, on Saturday, killing one of its riders. Prior to the arson attack, the crowd smashed the windshield of the Sumber Kencono intercity bus plying the route between Surabaya and Yogyakarta, causing its passengers to flee. “The crowd was angry because the bus was speeding when going through their area. They took the law into their own hands out of anger,” a local resident said.
Your comments:
Time has come to put speed limiters on buses and trucks. Ninety percent
of buses and trucks speed and, unfortunately, the brainless drivers
don’t even realize the risks.
Although buses and trucks should use the left lane on toll roads, you
mostly find them in the middle or fast lane. Pertamina trucks and Damri buses seem to be the worst of all!

If residents are going to attack all speeding buses, they will have a full-time job.
However, it seems that, in Indonesia, the public is always taking the law into their own hands.
Have any of the bus attackers been arrested?
