akarta: The Challengers won a nerve wracking one wicket victory over Indorama, who were undone by 70 runs during the weekend match of the 2010-11 Apple Coal JCA League event held in Karawaci on Sunday.

While batting, Indorama made 193 for 7 in 35 overs. Vishwajit Tripathi lead the scoring with 56, while Ashish Gupta scored his second consecutive fifty. Satinder Minhas and Susheel Khanna took 2 wickets apiece for the Challengers.

The Challengers kept the required run rate in check, and were well-placed at 123 for 3 in 24 overs. The last 11 overs involved a see-saw battle, but the Challengers held their nerve to record a one wicket victory in the last over.

In the other match at the Apple Coal Cricket ground Cibubur, the Rebels recorded a comfortable 45 run victory over GMIS CC. — JP
