akarta: Transportation Agency plans to continue its crackdown on public transportation vehicles with dark tinted windows, with operations at Cililitan and Klender bus stations in East Jakarta and Ragunan station in South Jakarta.
“We are still targeting to eradicate tinted windows on public transportation vehicles. Further measures could be taken if we see any serious violations taking place during this operation,” Cililitan bus terminal chief Ati Suharti said Tuesday as quoted by kompas.com.
“The maximum [tint] is 70 percent, in accordance with Transportation Ministry regulations,” she said, adding that agency officers would also remove stickers and decorations from the vehicles windows that could reduce visibility.
