Unsettled compensation: Activists and children from Sidoarjo, East Java, show a bust of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono made of clay taken from the mudfl ow site that has buried properties and displaced thousands of families from their villages since the disaster began in 2006. They rallied outside the presidential office in Jakarta on Monday, demanding Yudhoyono to act firmly toward PT Lapindo Brantas, the mining company whose operations triggered the mud volcano.
