AKARTA: Mark Zuckerberg asked social media for advice for his New Year'€™s resolution last week '€“ and the billionaire Facebook founder says he'€™s reached a decision.

'€œMy challenge for 2015 is to read a new book every other week '€“ with an emphasis on learning about different cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies,'€ Zuckerberg said on Facebook on Sunday.

He'€™s also created an open Facebook page titled A Year of Books, encouraging people to read and talk about the books.

First on Zuck'€™s list is Moisés Naím'€™s The End of Power, about the shift of power from organizations to individuals.

'€œThe trend toward giving people more power is one I believe in deeply, and I'€™m looking forward to reading this book and exploring this in more detail,'€ Zuckerberg said.
