he Boyolali Prison in Central Java is still waiting for the arrival of death-row convict Tran Thi Bich Hahn, a 37-year-old Vietnamese woman, who is to be executed by firing squad in the town on Sunday.

The head of Boyolali Prison, Akhmad Chudori, said he has yet to receive any information on the planned execution and the Vietnamese woman who was sentenced to death for drug trafficking has not been transferred from Semarang to the prison.

'€œThe death-row inmate is still in the Bulu women's prison. She has not been brought here and we have yet to receive any instruction regarding the execution plan,'€ he said in Boyolali on Friday.

Tran, along with five other death-row convicts, was scheduled to be executed on Sunday. The five other executions are to be conducted in Nusakambangan. (***)
