The government will start implementing a 12-year compulsory education program next June, according to Coordinating for Human Development and Culture Minister Puan Maharani.

Your comments:

Maybe it will cut down on teen marriage and teen birth rate.

If they have to be in school, the parents of the young ladies will need to slow down offering them as brides to an apprentice horseshoe maker down the street.

Some of the boys, unfortunately, will lose some income when they have to stop pretending to play a small instrument while singing badly on a van that is pretending to be a bus.

Thumbs up. But what if they don'€™t go to school?
