T

wo more bodies of victims of a recent shooting committed by an unidentified armed group were recovered in the restive town of Poso, Central Sulawesi, on Friday.

The two bodies were identified as Heri Tobio, 55, and Aditya Tetembu, 55. The two were residents of Tangkura Village.

Poso Police office's Adj. Sr. Comr. Ronny Suseno said that the two deceased were found near the area of an earlier killing where Tommy Alipa, 22, was shot dead.

'€œAfter Tommy'€™s body was recovered, locals reported they found two more bodies,'€ Ronny said as quoted by kompas.com.

Ronny said further that villagers found the two bodies marked by several gunshot wounds. He said the shooting was allegedly committed by a most-wanted armed civilian gang led by Santoso.

'€œThe shooting was allegedly committed by the Santoso-led armed gang we are still hunting down,'€ he said.

The National Police'€™s 88 Special Detachment shot dead Totok, a member of the Santoso gang in a raid in Krenceng Village, Kediri, early on Friday. He was held responsible for the recent shooting of two police officials in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.(***)(+++)
