Mentalist and professional illusionist Deddy Corbuzier is preparing for his last show in August.
Deddy has said he will step down from the stage that has made him among the most popular entertainers of the past 17 years.
The host and producer of the Hitam Putih (Black and White) variety talk show said he would invite two mentalists from Las Vegas to join him for an upcoming farewell show to be held in Jakarta. 'I have six candidates for the show ['¦] Everything is in preparation now,' the 38-year-old said as reported by tribunnews.com on Thursday.
The recipient of the Merlin Award in 2010, who invented the Free Will trick currently popular among magicians, announced the retirement plan on his Instagram. 'I will stop doing magic show for commercial purposes. It will remain a hobby, and I will still perform magic for kids,' said the father of one.
He gained popularity after beginning to appear on TV in 1998.
