AKARTA: Model and actress Aurelie Moeremans says that she nearly got robbed when she was on her way home a couple of weeks ago.
'The incident took place at a spot near Ragunan [in South Jakarta] at around 2 a.m. I had just got back from a shoot,' Aurelie, 21, said as quoted by kompas.com.
Aurelie, who acts in the sinetron (soap opera) Cinta di Langit Taj Mahal (Love in the Taj Mahal Skies), said that she was in her car with two friends when it happened.
She was sitting in the back seat, while her friends were in the front seats, said the actress who is starring in feature films Tarot and LDR this year.
'We were at a traffic light when the robber got off his motorbike and smashed my car's rear vision mirrors.'
'My friend, who drove the car, hit the gas when the light turned green and we immediately entered a toll road,' added Aurelie.
She admitted that the incident shocked her, but refused to over react. 'I just need to be more cautious.'
