Musician-cum-actor Vincent Rompies has a problem controlling his diet, especially when it comes to his favorite dishes.

'€œI can never say no to rendang,'€ he said, referring to a spicy dish made by simmering beef for hours in coconut milk.

Vincent is aware that as a foodie, he is powerless to refuse any food offered him, and that he has the tendency to overeat.

'€œEspecially when I'€™m working, I can'€™t control what and how much I eat,'€ he was quoted as saying by tribunnews.com on Thursday.

Vincent, 35, who started his career in the entertainment industry as the bassist of now dissolved Clubeighties, is also known as a radio DJ, comedian and award-winning TV host. He is currently the bassist of pop rock band The Cash.

Vincent said he realized the importance for his health of consuming only healthy food and meals low in cholesterol.

'€œBut that'€™s easier said than done. It'€™s impossible to ignore my favorite food.'€
