A worker harvests Vaname shrimp at a shrimp farm in Palu, Central Sulawesi, on Friday. The Central Sulawesi Maritime and Fisheries Agency has said that with a new technique, namely Supra Intensive Indonesia (SII), a 1,000-square-meter farm can produce 15.3 tons of shrimp with a value of Rp 750 million (US$52,283) per harvest cycle. The agency aims at providing 30 percent of national shrimp demand. (JP/Seto Wardhana)
