ther than fun attractions and luxurious hotels, Dubai is also a delightful destination for culinary adventures. Here are six hotel restaurants worth a try in the City of Gold.

Pierchic

Situated at the end of a pier in Al-Qasr, part of the luxury Arabian resort Madinat Jumeirah, Pierchic is particularly recommended for those looking to enjoy Mediterranean seafood dishes. At lunch and dinner time, visitors can opt to try its classic menu options such as oysters, scallops, sashimi, lobsters and various fish dishes. Sitting in the terrace section is recommended, but do note that seats are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Nestled on the 122th floor of Burj Khalifa, At.mosphere is a fine-dining restaurant and lounge that is not for the faint-hearted. Newcomers should try its Lobster tacos, hand-cut beef tartare and the Chef’s garden tomato while marveling at the uninterrupted view of Dubai’s skyline from 442 meters above the ground.

Starting price: AED 375++ for two-course dining

Ewaan

Ewaan is an all-day dining restaurant inside The Palace Downton Dubai, an Arabian-style hotel located beside Burj Khalifa Lake that specializes in Indian and Arabian cuisines. It boasts seafood, meats, hummus as well as a large selection of mezzeh (small dishes) in its all-you-can-eat buffet. One of its current promotions is the Eid Al Adha dining special, available on Sept. 10-11.

Starting price: AED 50 for à la carte menu options

Pai Thai

This restaurant offers a Thai fine dining experience within Madinat Jumeirah. After a short abra (traditional Dubai boat) cruise to the restaurant, patrons can delight in the variety of Thai dishes on offer, such as chor moung (chicken dumpling with peanut and chili-soy sauce), pla neung ma now (steamed sea bass with garlic, chili and lime sauce), ped tod ka prow krob (spicy crispy duck dish) and many more.

Buddha Bar

Set in the Grosvenor House Hotel at the Dubai Marina area, this nightlife stop offers a fusion dining experience with food inspired by Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. One of its specialties is Thai green chicken curry with jasmine rice, a dish dubbed a hit by local magazines. Besides food, one of the most striking features of the two-story restaurant is a tall Buddha statue in its main dining area, which is a signature of every Buddha Bar across the world.

Prime68

This place is another recommended high-rise dining choice for foodies who prefer to enjoy their food, especially steak, while viewing Dubai’s skyline from the 68th floor of JW Mariott Marquis Hotel Dubai. Some of its recommended packages are the Prime Meats Jazz that offers à la carte options or “Butcher’s Block” premium cuts every Wednesday evening and a brunch special dubbed Prime68 1920 every Friday afternoon.
