View all search resultstate-owned bank Mandiri distributes 34,200 packages of groceries to the less fortunate in areas surrounding Bank Mandiri regional offices and foster homes.
The distribution of care packages containing rice, cooking oil, sugar, and instant noodles follows the distribution of 24,000 packages of food and Ramadan takjil worth Rp 4.7 billion on April 23.
"In line with the Safari Ramadan Mandiri untuk Negeri 1442H campaign, we hope that this activity will bring real benefits to both the recipients as well as the sellers," said Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Rudi As Aturridha.
. (Courtesy of Mandiri/.)He added that the distribution of food packages was a routine activity for the company during the holy month of Ramadan. It is intended to boost their employees' empathy while also bringing the company closer to its surrounding neighborhoods.
"As well as the less fortunate and foster home inhabitants, we previously distributed 60,000 packages of groceries to Indonesian Armed Forces personnel and 19,000 packages to members of the Indonesian Police in several regions," he said, adding that the activities followed strict health protocol to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
