s part of the sustained relations between ASEAN and the European Union, the ASEAN Secretariat and the EU delegation to ASEAN will be hosting the fourth ASEAN-EU Cooperation and Scholarship Day from Aug. 12 to 13.
Held entirely online, the two-day event will showcase EU-ASEAN cooperation programmes and scholarship opportunities from ASEAN and EU Member States. The two-day event features a series of talk shows and workshops on digital innovation, women in STEM, circular economy, as well as scholarship information from EU member states, workshops on CVs and motivational letter writing, and a sharing session with Erasmus and EU SHARE alumni who will shed light on their experiences living abroad.
Also in attendance will be ASEAN Secretary-General HE Dato Lim Jock Hoi and EU Ambassador to ASEAN HE Igor Driesmans, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, Ambassador Noel Servigon, and Deputy Secretary-General Cultural Community, HE Kung Phoak, who will be present during the opening and closing ceremony.
Throughout the event, participants will be able to freely switch from individual sessions to the main stage, while also simultaneously visiting booths from exhibitors to chat with representatives, which range from educational institutions like Nuffic Neso and DAAD Indonesia to EU funded programmes in ASEAN and other ASEAN-centric organizations like Sustainable Use of Peatland and Haze Mitigation in ASEAN (SUPA) and the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program.
