T LG Electronics Indonesia (LG) is expanding its reach to the gaming community with the new C1 OLED TV, a successor to the premium OLED Evo.

"Since its inception and with innovation along the way, more and more users around the world are choosing LG OLED TVs to enhance their gaming experience," said Hoony Bae, the product director of home entertainment at PT LG Electronics Indonesia.

"We want more people who love gaming, both through consoles and PCs in Indonesia, to get the best option for gaming through OLED TVs."

The development of firmware on the C1 and G1 OLED TV made LG the first manufacturer to provide Dolby Vision HDR support at 4K resolution and a 120 hertz (Hz) refresh rate for gaming.

Moreover, the C1 is designed with a game optimizer feature, catered to gamers. This includes a range of settings, such as standard, frame rate (FPS), role playing game (RPG) and real-time strategy (RTS), to name a few. Users also have the option to activate Black Stabilizer, a feature that is able to optimize details in black for a more dramatic experience.

"This equipment further complements its superiority in providing a more immersive gaming experience on TV," said Verina Widya, head of home entertainment product marketing at LG Electronics Indonesia.

LG’s new marketing campaign for the series includes a series of activities called the LG OLED Game Experience Zone. Starting this week, the event is available in Electronic City in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) area of Jakarta, followed by Hartono Elektronika Bukit Darmo Boulevard in Surabaya, East Java, next week. Both of these events will end on Dec. 31.

Visitors will have the opportunity to play a popular video game, such as Forza Horizon 4, on an OLED TV. Players are simply asked to play, record their best score and share their experience on their social media accounts.

LG Indonesia has prepared prizes for winners: a C1 OLED TV for the best scorer throughout the tournament and LG HBS-FN6 earbuds for the highest scorer each week.

Bae assured that the campaign would expand to other cities across Indonesia next year, in line with the company's focus on LG OLED TVs, which will come with various innovations that prioritize gaming needs.
